  In 2021 alone, many large-scale events such as China International Trade Fair, China Science Fiction Conference, and the first Xishan Yongding River Cultural Festival will be held in Shougang.

Shijingshan District is forward-lookingly planning the post-competition utilization of the big jumping platform, the Organizing Committee of the Winter Olympics, and the "Four Ices", giving it functions such as a sports and leisure block, a veneer and aerial skills research and development center, and a winter sports display.

  In the next step, Shijingshan District will also formulate a list of Shougang Industrial Relics Protection List for the Beijing Winter Olympics, study the mode and plan for the reuse of industrial relics, cultivate the "sports +" industrial ecology, and focus on the development of sports commerce, sports exhibitions, sports tourism and other diversified formats; continue Excavate the cultural connotation of Shougang industry, focus on the implementation of blast furnaces, coke ovens, transfer stations and other industrial relics renovation projects, build Shougang Industrial Heritage Park, create a historical memorial site for the modern steel industry in the capital and a place for experience of characteristic industrial relics, and build large-scale and open features Public space; plan featured cultural and tourism routes such as Shougang Science and Technology Tour, Net Red Shougang, and Night Tour of Shougang.

At present, the agglomeration area has attracted more than 10 sci-fi companies such as China Science Fiction Research Center, Tencent, and Danghong Qitian to settle in and launch related projects.
