In 2021, my country's current account will have a surplus of US$315.7 billion

Data show that my country's balance of payments will be basically balanced in 2021.

Among them, the current account surplus was 315.7 billion US dollars, with a ratio of 1.8% to the gross domestic product (GDP) in the same period, which remained in a reasonable and balanced range; the net inflow of direct investment increased significantly, and the two-way flow of cross-border funds was active.

  In 2021, my country's balance of payments will be characterized by a continued surplus in trade in goods, a narrowing deficit in trade in services, and a significant increase in the surplus in direct investment.

Wang Chunying, deputy director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and spokesperson, said that in 2021, the global economy will continue to recover as a whole, and my country's foreign trade imports and exports will maintain steady growth. The balance of payments caliber of goods trade exports will be 3.2 trillion US dollars, and imports will be 2.7 trillion US dollars. The surplus was US$554.5 billion, an increase of 8% over 2020.
