  In addition, the test found that the side wall temperature of some five-sided barbecue heaters can reach more than 250 ℃ under the working state.

In the test, when the sample was close to the cotton gauze, smoke was generated after 20 minutes, and a large amount of smoke was emitted after 40 minutes. When the heater was removed, a flame was generated immediately.

During daily use, if the heater is placed near combustibles for a long time, it is likely to cause a fire.

In addition, some samples also ignited on the cotton cloth laid on the ground during the simulated overturning.

  After consulting with experts, the heater is a compulsory certification product and should be marked with the "CCC" certification mark.

In this test, it was found that although the five-sided barbecue heater has the "CCC" mark, the actual products sold are not identical in structure to the certified products.

  The test also found that some five-sided barbecue heaters still have problems such as the measured power is much greater than the rated power, and the parts are easy to fall off.

  To this end, the Shanghai Consumer Protection Committee reminded that oil droplets should be careful when they catch fire, and avoid directly roasting fatty meat and other heavy oil ingredients.

For safety reasons, consumers are advised to purchase five-sided barbecue heaters with caution.

For consumers who have already purchased, safe placement is important.

  Keep the environment relatively empty, and try not to place other items within 1 meter of the surrounding area, especially items that are inflammable, explosive, and easily deformed by heat.

Do not cover the heater with textiles such as clothing and cotton to prevent safety accidents.

For such products, we will also urge enterprises to improve product design, improve warning signs, and strengthen the prevention and control of product quality and safety risks.

  Finally, when consumers buy barbecue heaters, it is recommended to buy products with complete nameplate logos, CCC logos, and manuals.
