3% weekly gains for financial market indices

Local financial market indices achieved a weekly increase of nearly 3%, as a result of an upward trend over five consecutive sessions, in which daily liquidity exceeded 1.9 billion dirhams.

The last sessions of the week witnessed today's session, Friday, trading worth 1.54 billion dirhams, and a green conclusion in all of the Dubai Financial Market and its counterpart in the capital, Abu Dhabi.

According to the data of the two markets, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange closed with an increase of 0.8% at the level of 8,998 points, with transactions worth a total of 1.3 billion dirhams.

The shares of 19 companies out of the 49 companies that were traded today, while the shares of 21 companies declined, and 9 remained stable.

On the Dubai Financial Market, the general index closed with an increase of 0.2% at the level of 3257 points, with transactions worth 242 million dirhams.

During the session, the shares of 11 companies out of 27 that were traded, while the shares of 9 companies declined, and 7 remained stable.
