The Consumer Affairs Agency has decided to make regular purchases because there have been a series of troubles in the malicious subscription commercial law that emphasized "trial prices" on online shopping, etc., and since June, regulations such as misleading displays have been tightened. We have released a guideline that summarizes new rules regarding such things.

Under the revised Specified Commercial Transactions Law, which will come into effect on June 1, certain items are required to be displayed so that the contract details can be clearly understood when making regular purchases via online shopping, etc. You will be able to cancel and so on.

The Consumer Affairs Agency has published guidelines with specific labeling examples for the new rules.

In this, as an example of display that may violate, even though it is a subscription contract, emphasize "trial price" and "first time free" on the application screen, and the contents of the contract are displayed only in a remote place or in small letters. Cases that have not been completed or cases where it is difficult to understand that the application is completed by displaying "Send" or "Participate" on the order button are listed.

The Consumer Affairs Agency has also released a leaflet for consumers, which introduces measures such as confirming the cancellation method in advance and saving a screenshot of the final screen of the application.
