Taking into account the terms of payment, about $61 million remains to be paid, ”he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He added that the rest of the amount can be paid if all consumers fulfill their contractual obligations, especially enterprises of the country's fuel and energy complex, and pay budgetary compensation.

Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, head of the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic Andrei Spinu earlier announced his readiness to resolve misunderstandings with the Russian company Gazprom regarding the audit of the debt of Moldovagaz.

The Russian company has previously stated that Moldova's approach to the audit of Moldovagaz's debt runs counter to the agreements reached earlier.

In October 2021, it was reported that Moldova and Gazprom agreed to audit the debt of Moldovagaz in 2022.
