“According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, in 2021 GDP grew by 4.6%, fully offsetting a decline of 2.7% in 2020,” the ministry’s document says.

It is noted that the contribution to the growth of the economy last year was made by both manufacturing industries and industries focused on consumer demand.

Earlier it became known that in annual terms, inflation in Russia as of February 4 was 8.8% against 8.82% a week earlier.
