Etihad Cargo launches a version of its website in Mandarin Chinese

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of the Etihad Aviation Group, has announced the launch of a version of its Mandarin Chinese language website, in celebration of the Chinese New Year.

A company statement stated that China contributes more than 20% of Etihad Cargo's operations, making it one of the company's most important markets, at a time when this step represents an important achievement in the context of Etihad Cargo's efforts to strengthen its position in the logistics market in China.


According to the statement, all visitors to the "etihadcargo.com" website in China will be converted to its new version in the "Mandarin" language, starting from February 8th, allowing them to access information about product offers and submit their opinions and complaints in their local language.


Jacqueline Han Lin Ni, director of the North Asia and Pacific region at Etihad Cargo, said that the launch of the “Etihad Cargo” website in the local language aims to facilitate the access of its dealers and partners to the necessary information, and represents a new step to enhance the strategic presence. group in China.

She added, "The company is also working on providing a Chinese version of the (booking portal), confirming its firm commitment to its partners in China, as well as its endeavors to expand and improve its digital portfolio and facilitate its services to customers."


Etihad Cargo launched digital transformation efforts in 2018, which contributed to the development of many of the company's programs and operations.

It also launched its website, which was renewed in 2021, along with the new "reservation portal", which contributed to enhancing customer demand, and recording a growth in the percentage of electronic reservations that exceeded 36% within three months of its launch.
