The Russian company wrote about this in its Telegram channel.

“The unilateral approach of the Moldovan side to auditing the debt of Moldovagaz runs counter to the agreements reached in October 2021,” the statement says.

It is noted that the meeting of the Supervisory Board of JSC "Moldovagaz" scheduled for February 2 did not take place due to the absence of representatives of the government of Moldova.

“Instead, representatives of the government of the Republic of Moldova reported that the conditions for attracting an auditor have already been determined by the Moldovan side.

As follows from the published documentation, it did not take into account the proposals of PJSC Gazprom, previously sent to the Moldovan side," the Russian company said.

It is emphasized that such a one-sided approach of the Moldovan side to determining the terms of the tender for the purchase of auditor services does not allow one to expect transparency and objectivity of the debt audit.

“This may lead to the fact that the results of the audit will not be agreed upon by the Supervisory Board of JSC Moldovagaz,” the message adds.

In October 2021, it was reported that Moldova and Gazprom agreed to audit the debt of Moldovagaz in 2022.
