Hainan held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic during the 2022 Spring Festival on the 28th, introducing the need for those entering Qiong to abide by the epidemic prevention and control policies, as well as the epidemic prevention and control measures for those returning home.
During the Spring Festival, foreigners (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, excluding Macau) entering Qiongyuan will strictly follow the "14+7+7" to implement the control of inbound personnel, that is, 14 days of centralized isolation, 7 days of home isolation, and 7 days of self-health monitoring.
During the 7-day home health monitoring period, "staying at home" will be strictly implemented, and those who cannot meet the conditions of "staying at home" will continue to be quarantined.
Home quarantined persons and their family members will carry out nucleic acid testing on the second and seventh days; during the 7-day self-health monitoring period, they should not go out unless necessary, and do personal protection and do not gather when they go out. Nucleic acid testing will be carried out on the seventh day.
The Macao SAR is managed as a low-risk area in China.
Persons entering Qiong from medium- and high-risk areas and epidemic-related areas in China shall follow the isolation and control measures for entering Qiongong from medium- and high-risk areas and the "Detailed Rules for Nucleic Acid Testing and Inspection of Persons Returning to Qiongong from Epidemic Areas".
Persons entering Qiong from low-risk areas in China (regions other than medium-high-risk areas and areas involved in epidemics) will be provided with nucleic acid testing services at various airports and ports before March 15, 2022, and will be released after sampling.
Those who already hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours will not be sampled and will be released directly.
Wang Zhongyun, deputy director of the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture, reminded that tourists who are willing to travel to Hainan will accept the control measures of the local epidemic prevention and control department if the health code is red or yellow.
Those with an asterisk in the itinerary code should cooperate with the epidemic prevention department according to the local epidemic prevention requirements.
When participating in a group tour organized by a travel agency, you must present your ID card and real-name registration system to participate in the tour.
Hainan Province will strictly implement the "circuit breaker" mechanism for the management of inter-provincial tourism business activities. Tourists should pay attention to the epidemic situation in their province in a timely manner. Once an epidemic occurs in their province, they cannot enter Hainan for tourism by participating in a tour group.
Tourists who are going to visit tourist attractions should pay attention to the announcements of the scenic spots in advance, travel off-peak, and make online reservations or real-name ticket purchases.
Since the beginning of the Spring Festival in 2022 on January 17, Hainan Province has seen 1.793 million passengers entering and leaving the island, an increase of 99.17% over the same period in 2021.
Among them, 844,700 passengers entered the island, a year-on-year increase of 101.74%; 94.83 passengers left the island, a year-on-year increase of 96.81%.

春节将至，返乡人员将迎来高峰。海南要求做好返乡人员排查登记。海南已开发“海南省农村返乡人员摸排系统”，正在全省推广使用。海南提倡“喜事缓办，丧事简办，宴会不办”，确需举办的尽可能缩小活动规模，承办5桌以上宴会等聚餐活动的餐饮单位须严格做好疫情防控工作，落实扫码、现场测温、通风消毒等措施；自行举办5桌以上宴会等聚餐活动的个人，须向属地村委会报备，落实属地疫情防控规定。
海南省卫健委副主任曾昭长说，当前，海南已成立流调溯源专班，全省成立流调小分队490个，实现市县疾控机构核酸检测全覆盖。截至目前，全省开展新冠病毒核酸检测的实验室共有79家，全省每日核酸检测能力理论最大值为34.95万人份/日。海南指导各市县储备集中隔离点194个，离房间2.09万间。(完)
