"Today is the 25th shed that has been drilled. In a few days, we can complete the sampling test of 20,000 mu of pollution-free leeks in the county." On January 19, the team leader of the Law Enforcement Brigade of Xin County Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province Wang Xiangang bent down and came out of the greenhouse, slapping the dirt on his body.

The Spring Festival is approaching. As a national "vegetable basket", since January 3, Xin County has concentrated its efforts on sampling and testing the county's leeks and vegetables marketed before the festival.

At present, 80 batches of quantitative inspections have been carried out, 65 monitoring vehicles have been dispatched, and 180 law enforcement personnel have been dispatched. The pass rate of sampling inspections has reached 100%.

In order to ensure the stable supply of vegetables, there are more than 120 vegetable constant temperature warehouses in Xin County, with a storage capacity of more than 150,000 tons.

"The constant temperature warehouse currently stores 100 tons of vegetables such as onions, garlic, cucumbers, wax gourd, and garlic sprouts. All of them have been reserved and will be sent to Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and other places in the next few days." Shaozhuang Village, Dongduzhuang Town, Xin County Party branch secretary Jia Yanjun said.

Recently, Shouguang's vegetable supply has entered a critical period.

In Shouguang Dili Agricultural Products Logistics Park, leafy vegetables, beans, fungi, eggplants and fruits are abundant.

In front of a logistics vehicle, workers clean and pack lotus roots from Jiangsu.

These lotus roots are in the season of concentrated listing. The price is 5 yuan/kg to 6 yuan/kg, and the price has risen again compared with last week. Beside, the workers are covering the broccoli with crushed ice, putting them in ice bottles, and the boxes are layer by layer. Stacked together, ready to send.

Vegetable merchant Li Xingting distributes winter melons in the logistics park, mainly from the south.

"Recently, the weather in the southern production areas has been better, and the supply has begun to increase. It is expected that the increase will be reduced in the future." Li Xingting said.

Li Guodong, assistant general manager of Shouguang Dili Agricultural Products Logistics Park, introduced that according to the laws of previous years, vegetable prices will continue to rise before the Spring Festival.

After the Spring Festival, as production and logistics return to normal levels, vegetable prices will also fall.

In the case of a relatively balanced supply and demand, vegetable prices in the terminal market will not rise or fall sharply.

"There is no problem with the stable production and supply of vegetables in Shandong." Researcher Gao Qiang, a member of the vegetable expert guidance group of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, told reporters that in 2021, agricultural technicians at all levels in Shandong will give full play to their technical advantages, and the total annual vegetable output will be 88.011 million tons, ranking firmly in the country. First, to contribute to the stable production and supply of vegetables in my country.

Gao Gaoqiang said that the winter open-field vegetables supplied to the spring market in Shandong increased by more than 100,000 mu year-on-year. Due to the high vegetable prices, the planting area of winter and spring stubble and early spring stubble vegetables will increase compared with the same period last year.

At present, there has not been any major disastrous weather. On the one hand, it is more conducive to the growth of overwintering stubble, and on the other hand, it does not affect the planting of winter-spring stubble and early spring stubble.

"Generally speaking, the sown area of vegetables in winter and spring has increased steadily, and stable production and supply are guaranteed." Gao Qiang said, in order to ensure production and improve quality, agricultural technicians are encouraged to carry out on-site guidance activities nearby, and the use of WeChat, Agricultural technology promotion APP, telephone hotline and other multimedia means to guide farmers to strengthen field management.
