  The Ministry of Transport expects to enter the peak period before the Spring Festival from January 27 to January 30, and the peak passenger flow is expected to appear around January 30 (the 28th of the twelfth lunar month). The peak passenger flow will be from February 5 (the fifth day of the first month) to the 8th (the eighth day of the first month), and from the 16th (the sixteenth of the first month) to the 17th (the seventeenth of the first month).

  The Ministry of Transport said that during the Spring Festival holiday in 2022, toll roads across the country will continue to exempt tolls for small passenger cars with less than 7 seats (including 7 seats) and motorcycles that are allowed to travel on ordinary toll roads.

The specific free period starts at 0:00 on the first day of the holiday (January 31) and ends at 24:00 on the last day of the holiday (February 6).

For ordinary highways, the time when the vehicle passes through the toll lane of the toll station shall prevail, and on the expressway, the time when the vehicle leaves the toll lane at the exit shall prevail.

  Liu Pengfei pointed out that due to factors such as changes in the epidemic situation at home and abroad, public travel during the Spring Festival travel period this year is mainly medium and short-distance.

From the perspective of traffic changes, it is characterized by "stable before the festival, rebound during the festival, and rebound after the festival". It is expected that New Year's Eve will be the lowest point of traffic, and there will be two traffic peaks around the sixth of the first month and the sixteenth of the first month.

Judging from the weather conditions, the weather in the whole country during the Spring Festival this year is generally good, and the temperature in most areas is basically close to the normal level, and there may be a certain range of low-temperature rain and snow weather.

  The Ministry of Transport stated that during the Spring Festival, for migrant workers, students and other travel groups, the Ministry of Transport strengthened coordination with relevant departments to formulate targeted measures to provide strong guarantees on the premise of strictly implementing epidemic prevention and control measures.
