The Chinese Lunar New Year is approaching. At the project site of the Jingdezhen International Ceramics Expo Center, which was built by the China Railway Fourth Bureau, the construction scene was still in full swing. More than 300 workers gave up their vacations to stick to their posts and actively promoted the construction of the project.

Jingdezhen, Jiangxi, famous for its ceramics at home and abroad, has a thousand-year history of official kilns and more than 600 years of royal kiln history.

In 2019, the "Jingdezhen National Ceramic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Pilot Zone Implementation Plan" was approved, which is the first cultural tourism pilot zone approved by the State Council of China.

As a key project in the construction of Jingdezhen National Ceramic Culture Inheritance and Innovation Experimental Zone, Jingdezhen International Ceramics Expo Center is divided into an expo center and a trading center, with a planned total area of 1,378 mu.

The Jingdezhen International Ceramics Expo Center project is scheduled to be completed by October this year.

According to Wu Daoqian, the chief engineer of the project, in order to fulfill the construction period target of capping the main structure on the ground, the project department purchased 1,000 tons of steel, 2,000 square meters of concrete, 5,000 square meters of formwork, and 500 tons of disk buckle frames in advance. completed on time.

Due to the tight schedule and heavy tasks, Zheng Youjun from Xuzhou, Jiangsu voluntarily stayed on the project site to work overtime during the Spring Festival.

"It's a pity that I can't be reunited with my family during the Chinese New Year, but there's nothing I can do if the project doesn't stop work. Fortunately, they all understand."

"If you miss home, you can chat with your family via WeChat video." 54-year-old Zheng Youjun made the calculations early. "The overtime pay is high during the Spring Festival, and with subsidies, the income is quite considerable. I will work hard this Spring Festival and earn more. Money home."

Like Zheng Youjun, 38-year-old Zheng Changyong also chose to "celebrate the New Year on the spot".

Zheng Changyong is a steel reinforcement worker on the Jingdezhen International Ceramics Expo Center project. This is the first time he has not returned home for the New Year.

"My child kept asking me some time ago, when are you coming back, Dad? Every time I hear it, my heart is sour, so I tell them, Dad won't go back during the New Year, and he will definitely go home after the New Year." , Zheng Changyong's face was full of guilt.
