The three manufacturers are expected to announce their new plan of attack on Thursday in order to jointly develop new electric models.

It seems that 5 platforms will suffice for almost all of the new models that will be launched by 2030. Working together and sharing technology will allow the three brands to offer trendy products whose development costs points will be distributed.

Among the technical bases, one already exists: it is the one used by the Mégane E-Tech Electric and by the future Nissan Ariya.

The second will be derived from that used by the current Clio, while the others will be developed in the years to come.
