Domestic shipments of so-called white goods such as air conditioners and refrigerators for the past year amounted to more than 2.52 trillion yen, a decrease of 0.6% from the previous year.

Demand for so-called nesting has run its course, and it has decreased for the first time in six years.

According to the Japan Electrical Manufacturers' Association, the total domestic shipment value of white goods for the last year was 2.5214 trillion yen, a decrease of 0.6% from the previous year.

Although it decreased for the first time in 6 years, it is almost in line with the adult, which was the highest level in 24 years due to the uniform payment of 100,000 yen in cash.

By product, electric hot air blowers and electric stoves increased by 27.2%, washing machines increased by 2.8%, and vacuum cleaners increased by 0.8%.

On the other hand, the demand for refrigerators has decreased by 0.9% since June of last year, and the so-called nesting demand has run its course, and the shipment value has started to decrease as a whole.

Regarding the future, industry groups say, "This is not a factor that boosts sales, and it is unlikely that the high level will continue."
