Volkswagen and Bosch have announced the signing of an agreement for the creation of a European battery supplier.
If this decision is not surprising for the head of the German manufacturer, which is moving towards total electrification, it is on the other hand much more so for Bosch, which had thrown down the gauntlet in 2018 because of its technological delay compared to competition.
To compete with Asian suppliers, the joint venture plans to open 6 large factories by 2030. We already know that the first will be located in Germany, and the second in Sweden.
