MG continued its foothold in Europe very well, tripling its sales in 2021. Despite the shortage of electronic chips and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, MG Motor Europe sold 21,946 vehicles in continental Europe, compared to 7,200 units in 2020.

In 2019, this Chinese brand, part of the SAIC group, returned to Europe with the ZS EV, an affordable small electric SUV.

Subsequently, MG marketed new products such as the EHS (plug-in hybrid SUV), the Marvel R (luxury electric SUV), and in a few weeks will arrive the MG5, the very first electric station wagon on the market.

All have in common an excellent price/performance ratio and an astonishing maturity of design.

The brand seems to have a bright future ahead of it, as it has been chosen by SAIC (the largest Chinese car manufacturer which produces 7 million vehicles a year) to be its standard bearer on the Old Continent.

And the least we can say is that MG has rather convincing arguments to succeed!
