Veolia officially became the owner of Suez on Tuesday, after receiving the shares of its rival acquired after a takeover bid, the group said. The world number one in water and waste, which had already bought 29.9% of the capital of Suez from Engie, received on Tuesday more than 363.6 million additional shares from its takeover bid.

Now holder of 86.22% of Suez, Veolia has reopened the takeover bid for a few more days, in order to reach 100%.
