The deputy expressed the opinion that this is "political rhetoric directed at the Russian side", especially on the eve of Burbock's trip to Russia.

“This is a slight intensification of relations ... In this situation, all questions are right now with Germany, which is delaying the certification of Nord Stream 2,” the deputy said.

According to Ananskikh, Burbock, first of all, should turn to the German government with the question why the project has not yet been certified.

He recalled that the Russian side did everything “on time” and is ready to supply gas to Europe.

Earlier, Burbock threatened Russia with “suitable measures” against Nord Stream 2 if the situation around Ukraine escalated.
