On January 12, a cargo flight loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods took off from Xinjiang Kashgar International Airport to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

  The exported goods carried by the flight are mainly daily necessities such as clothing, shoes, hardware, etc., with a total of 45,944 pieces, the weight of the goods is 16.4 tons, and the value of the goods is about 310,000 US dollars.

  It is reported that since the global outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in 2020, the Kashgar air port has been at a standstill.

This is the second international cargo route since the Kashgar International Air Port opened the Kashgar-Karachi cargo route in 2019.

The route is planned to have three weekly flights.

The cargo capacity per shift is 16 tons.
