The general share of joint venture brands has declined significantly, and the market vacancies are filled by a large number of independent brands.
In terms of brands, although the three joint venture brands of FAW-Volkswagen, SAIC Volkswagen and Shanghai GM lead the sales list, the downward trend is obvious, with retail sales down 15.7%, 7.1% and 9.2% respectively compared with last year.
Among the self-owned brands, Changan Automobile, Great Wall Motor and BYD Automobile have maintained a certain scale of sales, and their sales have increased significantly, with retail sales increasing by 18.5%, 13.4% and 73.5% respectively compared with last year.
It is worth noting that BYD Auto has emerged with new energy vehicles, and the data on the list is very prominent.
