  According to statistics, in 2021, China State Shipbuilding Corporation will undertake operations of 130.15 billion yuan/25.984 million deadweight tons, 206 ships/17.081 million deadweight tons will be delivered, and orders will be 41.953 million deadweight tons, which will not only exceed the annual targets, but also account for global market shares. 21.5%, 20.2%, and 20.5% (in DWT), ranking first among all shipbuilding companies in the world.

Among them, the operating contract amount has doubled from the annual plan, setting a new record since 2008.

The construction contract for the No. 2 domestic large cruise ship has come into effect, and the construction is planned to start in the second half of this year. At that time, there will be a spectacular scene of the construction of two large cruise ships, which will help the construction of the entire industry chain of large cruise ships in China.

The first batch of orders for four 174,000 cubic meters of LNG ships under the Qatar LNG Hundred Ship Construction Plan has been placed in Hudong-Zhonghua.

This is a milestone and important step forward for the project following the joint signing of the "China Ship-Qatar Petroleum LNG Ship Construction Project" agreement by China Shipbuilding Corporation and Qatar Petroleum in April 2020.

  According to statistics, among the nearly 300 ship orders undertaken in 2021, the proportion of high-quality customers from strategic customers, market segment leading customers and long-term cooperation will reach 56%.

The concentration of the main ship types undertaken is about 87%, the proportion of mid-to-high-end ship types has reached 75.2%, and the repair load ratio has reached 0.40, which is the best performance in history.

  In terms of production, the construction efficiency has been continuously improved, multiple high-end ship types have been delivered in a centralized manner, and the annual production task has been completed one month ahead of schedule. The production and operation of the marine business continued to improve.

Hudong-Zhonghua and Jiangnan Shipbuilding delivered a total of 10 ultra-large container ships. It is worth mentioning that it has achieved the perfect conclusion of the world's first largest and most advanced 23,000TEU liquefied natural gas (LNG) dual-fuel powered container ship project, further consolidating Chinese ships. The Group's leading position in the global ultra-large container ship market marks the improvement of the "Chinese ship's independent research and development + design + operation + construction + supporting" model.

China Shipbuilding Corporation's "Project No. 1", China's first large-scale cruise ship, was completed on October 18, 2021 at Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, and it was fully transferred to a new stage of the whole ship's interior decoration project.

On December 17 of the same year, the milestone node of floating in the dock was achieved again, marking the full transition of the project from the "first half" of structural and outfitting construction to the "deep water area" of internal installation and system completion and commissioning, towards 2023. Another key step has been taken towards the overall goal of completion and delivery in September 2019.
