As the number of flights decreases due to COVID-19, there are complaints that there is no place to use airline mileage.

It is said that it can now be used to shop at the mart or to buy home appliances.

Korean Air announced that it has signed a mileage partnership with E-Mart.

Accordingly, Korean Air mileage can be accumulated or used when purchasing products at E-Mart.

When using mileage, receive a voucher in advance on the Korean Air website or app and present it to the cashier at checkout to receive a discount from the final payment amount by the amount of the voucher.

Korean Air previously formed a business partnership with Samsung Electronics and opened a mileage accumulation mall exclusively for members where customers can purchase electronic products such as TVs and refrigerators at discounted prices.

This increase in the number of places to use mileage seems to be intended to calm the complaints of customers who have lost their place to spend their mileage due to the long-term COVID-19 blocking their overseas travel routes.
