The problem is, the rear tires are prone to tearing, which can be really annoying in a car that kills 0-100 in just over two seconds and blithely speeds up to 350 km / h.
The alert actually comes directly from Michelin, which developed these compounds specifically and exclusively for the Bugatti's superlative performance.
The manufacturer will therefore seek a solution and create a new formula.
But in the meantime, the owners of Chiron Pur Sport are called upon to change the tires of their car, and to redo it every 3,000 km or 18 months (against an initially expected lifespan of 4,000 km or 24 months) until that new tires are created.
This is called a recall campaign, but at Bugatti, it only concerns 60 cars worldwide.
