“The Moldovagaz company fully transferred the money to Gazprom for the gas it received in December,” RIA Novosti quoted a statement from the company.
At the same time, the head of Moldovagaz, Vadim Cheban, specified that the funds have already been collected and will be transferred to Gazprom by the end of the day.
As it became known earlier, "Moldovagaz" is negotiating with Moldovan banks on a loan to pay "Gazprom" part of the current consumption of Russian gas in January.
