Dubai Insurance appoints 57 nationals and raises its Emiratisation rate to 34%

Dubai Insurance Company announced that it has appointed 57 Emiratis to its work team since December 2021, in a move that the company said reflects its commitment to the government's efforts to increase the number of citizens in the private sector.


The company stated in a statement that the new team of Emiratis includes three managers, 11 administrative supervisors, 32 legal researchers, one computer programmer, and 10 customer service agents, bringing the total number of Emiratis working in Dubai Insurance to 82 employees.


Abdul Latif Abu Qura, CEO of Dubai Insurance, said that "in line with the country's Emiratisation strategy, we have worked to increase the Emiratisation rate from 18% to 34%."

He added: “There are employees from 20 different nationalities working in (Dubai Insurance), and with 57 new national employees joining our growing team, citizens have become the largest number of employees, which of course constitutes a great achievement for a national company such as (Dubai Insurance), which is proud With its Emirati roots.


According to the company's statement, in the past years, "Dubai Insurance" has doubled its efforts to attract talented citizens and provide them with the opportunity to contribute to supporting their national economy.

In 2021, the company promoted 18 UAE national employees from legal researchers to administrative supervisors, in recognition of their valuable contributions to the company.


Dubai Insurance reaffirmed its position as a preferred business destination that reflects the country's values ​​based on unity, openness, tolerance and equality, especially with its keenness to achieve gender equality in it.


She pointed out that it seeks to be among the first companies to achieve the state's vision of climate neutrality 2050 and to keep pace with this strategic initiative, by establishing an internal committee tasked with drawing up an annual environmental, social and governance plan.
