At the same time, we are building low-carbon stadiums, all of which have reached the green building standards, 4 ice stadiums have used new carbon dioxide refrigerants, built an ultra-low energy consumption demonstration project of more than 50,000 square meters, and fully used low-carbon energy. 100% of the venue's conventional energy uses green electricity.
In addition, the Beijing Winter Olympics built a low-carbon transportation system, and energy-saving and clean energy vehicles accounted for more than 80% of the vehicles during the competition.
On this basis, carbon offset channels have been actively expanded. The governments of Beijing and Zhangjiakou donated forestry carbon sinks to the Beijing Winter Olympics. PetroChina, State Grid, and China Three Gorges Corporation also sponsored carbon-neutral products for the Beijing Winter Olympics. The Beijing Winter Olympics will be fully carbon neutral.
