In terms of speeding up the improvement of the housing security system, focusing on cities with high population inflows and high housing prices, we will accelerate the development of affordable rental housing. In terms of comprehensively promoting the renovation of old urban communities, vigorously renovate and upgrade old urban communities built before the end of 2000, and speed up the improvement of residents' living conditions.
From 2019 to 2021, a total of 114,000 old urban communities will be renovated nationwide, benefiting more than 20 million households.
According to reports, since the comprehensive implementation of the renovation of dilapidated houses in rural areas for poverty alleviation, the dilapidated houses of 7.9 million households and 25.68 million poor people across the country have been renovated; 10.75 million rural households with minimum living allowances, scattered supporters, poor families with disabilities and other poor groups have been renovated. By the end of last year, more than 150 million people had paid the national housing provident fund, more than 22 million people had been supported to withdraw for rent, and loans were issued to help more than 60 million people buy houses.
