A cooperation agreement between the Mauritanian government and the Emirates Alliance for Technical Solutions

Tahaluf Al Emarat Technology Solutions signed a memorandum of understanding with the UAE government during the Mauritanian National Day activities, which were held today, and on the sidelines of the Mauritanian-Emirati Business Forum.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Mauritanian government by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Development of the Productive Sectors in Mauritania, Ousmane Mamoudou, and Yahya El Hami, on behalf of the Emirates Alliance for Technology Solutions. Expo 2020 Dubai.

The agreement aims to strengthen the cooperation of the efforts of the two parties and consolidate the strategic relationship between them for the current and future benefit of both parties. The agreement also specifies how the Republic of Mauritania can benefit from the technical expertise of Tahaluf by providing advanced technical solutions to government agencies and institutions inside and outside the UAE.

Commenting on the importance of the agreement, His Excellency the Minister of Economic Affairs and Development of Productive Sectors, Ousmane Mamoudou Kan, said: “The signing of this agreement is in line with the directions of our wise leadership in Mauritania towards digitization, providing government digital solutions that achieve service inclusion for all citizens, improve government performance, simplify its procedures, and enhance Transparency and our quest for good governance

The agreement focuses on a coalition developing solutions related to the digital portal for cabinet meetings in Mauritania, a solution that represents the first of its kind in this field. Lots of time and effort for workers in all ministries. In addition, the agreement includes training and qualifying Mauritanian staff and obtaining accredited certificates from Tahaluf Academy, which is the international training center of Tahaluf that provides the latest training programs in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, And other topics required by digital transformation processes in institutions and companies, in addition to updating a number of government services via mobile phone.

For his part, Tahaluf representative, Yahya Elhamy, said during the signing: “We are working to cooperate with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Innovation and Modernization of Administration in Mauritania, and to provide them with what they need in the field of automating the work of ministries and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and supporting the ambitious vision of the Mauritanian government 2022-2025. .

Al Hami stressed the need to provide government services digitally because of its positive and practical effects. Each ministry, according to each country and its future aspirations, are solutions that eliminate the need for paper documents in transactions, so they are environmentally friendly solutions, and save time, effort and money for workers in the government and private sectors and for members of the public as well, which contributes to the advancement of societies.”
