A survey by a major bank found that while companies are required to respond to climate change, most small and medium-sized enterprises have not taken measures such as setting carbon dioxide emission reduction targets.

From October to December last year, Resona Holdings conducted a questionnaire survey on climate change, etc., targeting more than 24,000 group business partners.

Among them, when asked about carbon dioxide emission reduction , 5% of the companies with sales of less than 500 million yen

answered that they "set a reduction target" or "have grasped the emission amount" .

▼ 500 million yen to less than 1 billion yen was 6%,

▼ 1 billion yen to less than 5 billion yen was 4%.

Efforts toward decarbonization are progressing among large companies, but Resona will continue to focus on supporting the efforts of its business partners in the form of the delay in the response of small and medium-sized enterprises. It is a policy.
