  According to reports, the seamless line has the advantages of reducing train running resistance, reducing running vibration and noise, etc., the stability of train operation will be greatly improved, the train will run more smoothly and safely when passing, and passengers will not feel bumpy on the train.

  Since the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the Xinjiang railway department has focused on the goal of a better travel experience for passengers, continuously strengthened the construction of railway infrastructure, and accelerated the pace of railway construction in southern Xinjiang.

  In 2011, passenger trains of the Kashi (Shi) and (Tian) railways opened, making Hotan no longer far away; in 2015, the opening and operation of the second line of Tu (Lufan)-Ku (Erle) marked the beginning of the electrification era of the southern Xinjiang railway; 2020 , Ge (Ermu)-Ku (Erle) railway runs through the entire line to form the third major railway channel in and out of Xinjiang.

On September 27, 2021, the whole line of the He (Tian) Ruo (Qiang) railway was laid and connected, adding the last link to the railway loop around the Tarim Basin.

So far, the railway loop around the Tarim Basin has been formally formed, which is another railway loop in Xinjiang after the formation of the northern Xinjiang railway loop.

  According to Wang Wei, an employee of Aksu Public Works Section, in the early days of Aksu Station, the train speed was only about 80 kilometers per hour.

At that time, there were only a few tents at Aksu Station. When walking, the sand and soil were flying. When I was in the car, I was sweating profusely in summer.

  Especially in recent years, Xinjiang Railway has closely focused on the mission goal of "inner Xinjiang, entering and leaving Xinjiang faster", and through continuous upgrading and reconstruction of southern Xinjiang railway, the travel time of people in southern Xinjiang has been shortened, and the fastest time from Urumqi to Kashgar is 14 hours. 24 minutes, Urumqi to Hotan to achieve one day.

The freight volume has increased significantly, and the economic belt along the railway line has developed rapidly.

  It is understood that some lines of the Southern Xinjiang Railway are 25-meter steel rails. When the train runs through the joint between the rails, there will be a "bang, bang, bang" sound, which not only increases the friction between the wheels and the line, but also affects the comfort of passengers.

Since 2019, the Xinjiang railway department has vigorously carried out the infrastructure upgrading and reconstruction project of the southern Xinjiang railway line, and has carried out a comprehensive line replacement for the Ku (Erle) A (Kesu) Kashi (Shi) Railway, replacing the 500-meter-long steel rails and welding. , the implementation of seamless line transformation.

  "In the past three years, we have mainly used the spring and autumn when the rail temperature is suitable, and have invested a total of 160,000 manpower, more than 9,000 large-scale machinery, 1,350 hours of construction of 'skylights', and a total of 893.9 kilometers of lines have been replaced. The A-Kazakh line has been fully upgraded," said Qin Zhong, deputy section chief of the Line Section of the Public Works Department of China Railway Urumqi Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

  The railway loop around the Tarim Basin has been fully realized seamless, marking that the Xinjiang Southern Xinjiang Railway has entered the era of seamless lines as a whole, and the travel experience of passengers will be better.
