China News Service, Tianjin, January 7 (Reporter Wang Junyan) On January 1, the highly anticipated Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect.

The reporter learned from Tianjin Customs on the 7th that recently, Tianjin Huilai International Trade Co., Ltd. has become the first approved exporter under RCEP in Tianjin after the review and confirmation of Tianjin Customs.

According to Tianjin Customs, an approved exporter refers to an enterprise that has been legally recognized by the Customs and can issue a declaration of origin for the goods it exports or produces that have the qualification of origin under the relevant preferential trade agreement.

The approved exporter system is one of the highlights of the implementation of RCEP. After becoming an approved exporter, an enterprise can issue a declaration of origin at any time. When exporting its goods, it is not necessary to apply for a certificate of origin from a visa agency. The declaration of origin enjoys preferential customs clearance abroad, and the effect is equivalent to the certificate of origin issued by the customs.

Fu Jia, manager of Tianjin Huilai International Trade Co., Ltd., said that after being identified as an approved exporter, the company can more flexibly plan and arrange the production and export of goods, so as to facilitate its enjoyment of the tariff reduction dividends of the RCEP free trade agreement, which is conducive to improving the International market competitiveness of goods.

According to reports, since the RCEP parties are all important trading partners of Tianjin, the implementation of the system in Tianjin will be more conducive to enterprises to explore the international market, especially to strengthen cooperation and trade exchanges with Japan, ASEAN and other countries and regions.

In order to help enterprises fully benefit from the benefits, Tianjin Customs uses various channels such as policy seminars, on-site publicity and new media to promote the approved exporter system and RCEP origin tariff reduction and other preferential policies, and also applies to the approved exporter system. Enterprises provide "one-to-one" guidance to help enterprises make full use of the customs facilitation policy and seize the export opportunities of competitive products.
