This is the first RCEP certificate of origin issued by Harbin Customs after the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) came into effect.

  The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is an agreement initiated by ASEAN in 2012 and formulated by 15 members including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and 10 ASEAN countries. The free trade zone with the largest population, the largest economic and trade scale and the most potential for development in the world has officially set sail.

After the agreement takes effect, the approved members will implement tariff reductions according to the agreement, and more than 90% of the trade in goods in the region will eventually achieve zero tariffs.

  From January to November 2021, the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province to RCEP countries was 16.88 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 32.4%.

The implementation of RCEP will play a positive role in promoting economic and trade exchanges between Heilongjiang Province and RCEP countries and expanding opening to the outside world.
