At 19:18 on January 6, after 10 hours of continuous operation, the first continuous beam No. 0 block of the Huangpu Tram Line 2 across the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway Viaduct, which was constructed by the China Railway 25th Bureau, was completed. The project control engineering has taken a key step and laid the foundation for the rapid progress of the subsequent projects.

Huangpu Tram Line 2 is an important part of the “one main and three branches” tram backbone network in Huangpu District. A line mainly for business and commuting services, with a total length of 14.38 kilometers and 19 stations.

According to Zhou Changlei, the project leader of the China Railway 25th Bureau, the No. 0 block is located at the main pier of YP05, a continuous beam spanning (60+93+53) meters across the Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway viaduct. The pouring volume is 214 cubic meters.

The Guangzhou-Shenzhen Expressway, the "busiest expressway in China" spanned by the continuous beam, has an average daily traffic volume of 650,000 and is known as the "Golden Corridor" in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The construction of the continuous beam has extremely high safety risks.
