According to reports, the urban water supply project is the most anticipated livelihood project among the six projects that Costa Rica proposed to China in 2015.
The total investment of the project is 118,657,500 yuan. The main construction contents include: the new floating boat and the power distribution room of the water intake pump station, a water purification plant, and a raw water and water purification pipeline of about 14 kilometers in the Santiyar Reservoir in Canias City .
After the project is completed, it will effectively alleviate the current situation of insufficient water supply in Canhas City and excessive arsenic in the water used by residents in Bebedero City, allowing tens of thousands of citizens in the two cities to drink "safe water", which will help ensure the health of local residents and improve the quality of citizens.
