In question, the significant rise in inflation in 2021 which could indeed be felt on the bank tariffs of 2022.

More specifically, the latter should increase on average by 2.5% according to the CLCV.

The association of consumers and users has detailed two profiles of customers for whom the bill will be higher.

First of all, those who use their services little should see their bill increase by 68.14 euros over the year.

It will also be necessary to count on an increase of 149 euros for the French who use an account with two holders, such as joint accounts for example.

In detail, bank cards, in particular those with deferred debit, are increasing sharply, as are account maintenance fees.

But there are even steeper increases for some special ops.

"For example, if you take the implementation of an occasional transfer in an agency, it is an increase of 3.6% that we will have on average", affirms Maxime Chipoy, president of the site Moneyvox.

"If you forget your bank card confidential code, the increase will be 4.5% over one year.

There are other aspects, for example cashier's checks which are checks that we rarely use, but that we use, for example, if you buy a used car, we are at 5.2%. "

Less free withdrawals from ATMs outside your bank

Finally, the fees related to withdrawals from an ATM that does not belong to your banking network are also on the rise, either with a price that is changing upwards, or with a stricter limitation on the number of free withdrawals.
