Employees of the "Economy" and "Dubai Digital Authority" begin their work on the first Friday of the official working hours

Employees at the headquarters of the Ministry of Economy in Dubai began their work duties today, Friday, in different departments, according to the new weekly work system approved by the Federal Authority for Human Resources for implementation during the current year, so that working days will be from Monday to Thursday, and work on Friday for a period of four and a half hours, provided that they are Weekly holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

With the implementation of the work system equivalent to four and a half working days in all parts of the country with the exception of Sharjah, which approved the work system for a period of four days, and defines the weekly holiday on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the Federal Authority for Human Resources urged government agencies to take advantage of the flexibility provided by the legislator within The executive regulation of the human resources law in the federal government regarding flexible working hours, provided that the regulation regulating flexible working hours approved by the federal authorities is consistent with the work need and within the limits of official working hours.

And the Federal Authority for Governmental Human Resources issued a circular to all ministries and federal entities regarding granting flexibility to work remotely for federal government employees on Friday, to ensure the continuity of service provision, and the proper functioning of the federal government during the implementation of the remote work system on this day.

On the other hand, employees at the Dubai Digital Authority headquarters began to work today, Friday, in the first official working hours to be applied on this day, according to the new work system regulations.
