With nearly 130 exhibitors, France is the second most represented country at the Consumer Electronics Show which opened this Wednesday in the United States. In this global innovation fair, French start-ups were able to present their new technological prowess and, perhaps, also attract potential investors and thus export their know-how.

Covid or not, France remains the second international delegation present at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), behind the United States, which plays at home.

These few days in Las Vegas, at the largest forum for innovation and tech, come after two months of preparation for these young shoots, in particular to protect their innovations at the INPI (National Institute of Intellectual Property) before to leave, but also to know how to present oneself in English in front of foreign investors.

Tech giants absent from the show due to Covid

This year, the show is synonymous with innovations in the field of health, the environment, but also mobility.

"We have companies like Chargepoly, for example, which will present a fast charging station for electric vehicles, also multi-vehicle, from a single terminal. It is a new patented technology which, today, is 'has no equivalent elsewhere in the world, "congratulates Eric Morand.

In Las Vegas, start-ups are looking to gain visibility.

With the Covid, it may be easier this year, thanks to the absence of several big names like Google, Lenovo or even Amazon.
