Dubai Integrated Economic Zones announces appointments for senior leadership positions

The Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones (DEEZ) has announced appointments to senior leadership positions for the new phase that will lead it to promote integration and provide comprehensive solutions to investors and companies in free zones, based on the decision of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum stressed that the list of appointments for senior leadership positions for the authority came in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in developing and strengthening the role of human cadres to achieve the highest results, integration and cooperation. In order to achieve sustainability in growth and progress in business and to consolidate the emirate's position as a global center for investment and business.
His Highness added: “We are looking forward with confidence to the Dubai Authority for Integrated Economic Zones (DIZ) and its new administrative structure, and we are confident in the efficiency of our cadres and their abilities to achieve the desired integration, as their competencies have proven over the past years their distinction and ability to lead the authority’s new phase in providing integrated and most integrated business solutions. Comprehensiveness of the business and investment community in Dubai’s free zones, under the umbrella of (Dies), where we are keen to present an equal economic model that creates more promising prospects and new growth and expansion opportunities, in a way that enhances the confidence of the investment community, and provides it with a smooth and highly efficient experience through service packages and supporting solutions, which in turn activate the operational efficiency of the three free zones.”
Amna Rashid Lootah, Director General of the Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), has been appointed to lead and implement strategic plans in accordance with the approved structure.
And the appointment of Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, as the General Manager of Dubai Silicon Oasis.
Engineer Muammar Al Kathiri has also been appointed as the Executive Director of the Engineering and Smart City Sector in the Authority.
William Chapel will serve as CEO of Die's Finance.
Youssef Behzad has been appointed as Executive Director of Human Resources and Institutional Development at Die's, and Bader Buhanad will assume the position of Executive Director of Institutional Support at Die's.
The list included the appointment of Saeed Al-Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Legal Affairs Sector at "Diez", and Abdul Rahman Basaid, as Executive Director of the Audit and Risk Management Sector at "Diez".
