Israeli abuse

International law allows the use of administrative detention, if it is justified by "

pressing security reasons

".

But according to Qaddura Fares, the Israeli occupation forces are using it in a completely abusive manner.

” he continues, “

the State of Israel claims to be a democracy but does not hesitate to apply these arbitrary administrative detentions.

They last six months and can be extended without judgment.

Cumulatively, some have spent fifteen years behind bars.

We will continue to fight against these detentions.
