In order to inherit, develop and utilize the historical and cultural value of the Grand Canal, and promote the integration and development of culture and tourism in the areas along the Grand Canal, the 2021 "China Grand Canal Cultural Belt Beijing-Hangzhou Dialogue" will hold the "Millennium Canal Thousand Miles Journey" Chinese and foreign media gathering activities.
From July to October, the special filming team took the "Canal Family" as the core to photograph the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It traveled more than 3,000 kilometers from Beijing to Hangzhou. By telling the story of the canal family, it showed the changes and development of the canal, highlighting the Grand Canal. Cultural charm stimulates the vitality of the canal and promotes the protection, inheritance, development and utilization of the Grand Canal.
