The most astonishing when looking at the photos of the Vision EQXX is its extremely streamlined body, whose air penetration rate (also called the coefficient of drag or Cx) is only 0.17, notably thanks to its tapered rear part.
Claiming a range of more than 1,000 km with a battery whose capacity does not exceed 100 kWh (without further details), the Mercedes offers record performance thanks to a new generation of batteries which are more compact, less heavy and allow storage more energy.
The car is also fitted with solar panels on the roof, saving up to 25 km on one trip.
Note that the Vision EQXX does not have an inordinate power since it develops 204 hp.
In this, it does not therefore play the overbidding, like too many electrical concepts currently.
These elements placed end to end allow a consumption of less than 10 kWh / 100 km.
This concept car will not become a production car, but its technological innovations will be found in the electric Mercedes of the future.
