On the spot, we see Amr Diab, who despite his sixty years has a reputation of Don Juan, take a picture of a pedestrian he almost knocked down thanks to the rearview mirror of his Citroën.

A banner appears in English saying.

“

Capture every beautiful moment

”, with Amr Diab smiling despite the outraged look of the passerby.

For internet users, this is a promotion of sexual harassment.

Harassment generally ranging from sexist thoughts to physical assault in the most extreme cases and against which several laws have been adopted in Egypt.

 "Be even closer to me"

Citroën withdrew the ad from all digital media and apologized after the outcry on social media.

Singer Amr Diab, whose new song has just been released, has remained silent.

The song, which is already a hit in the Gulf countries, says: "

Be even closer to me

 ".
