China News Service, Ya'an, December 23 (Reporter Wang Peng and Liu Zhongjun) The two tunnels of the Yujiagang Tunnel on the Lushi Expressway in Sichuan were opened on the 23rd. The reporter learned from the scene that this is also the highway with a bridge-to-tunnel ratio of 86.5%. The first tunnel.

The Lushi Expressway starts in Luding County of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and ends in Shimian County of Ya'an City. It is built by Shudao Group and has a total length of about 97 kilometers.

As the project is laid along the Dadu River valley, it is mostly constructed by drilling hills and tunnels. The ratio of bridge to tunnel is as high as 86.5%, of which tunnels alone account for 69%. It is the project with the highest ratio of bridge to tunnel among the projects under construction in Sichuan Province.

The Yujiagang tunnel that was passed through this time is a separate tunnel, with a length of 700 meters on the left and a length of 689 meters on the right.

Lushi Expressway is located in the transition zone from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Sichuan Basin, close to the Gongga Mountain glacier and the ecological function zone for biodiversity protection, so ecological environmental protection is very important.

Yuan Feiyun, chairman of the Shudao Group Zanggao Lushi Company, told reporters that in order to protect the environment, all tunnels on the Lushi Expressway are "zero excavation", that is, when the tunnel entrance is excavated, the mountain is not cut in a large area, and the tunnel is first Extending and spraying concrete to protect the slope can avoid the upside slope slump, which not only protects the local ecological environment, but also protects the forest and vegetation around the entrance to the utmost.

The Lushi Expressway Tunnel is adjacent to a number of regional active large fault zones in parallel, and the basic seismic intensity is Ⅷ (8 degrees). According to industry experts, such a large-scale long and deep-buried tunnel will be built along the direction of the parallel fault zone in the high-intensity earthquake zone. The group is challenging the restricted area of engineering, which is "the first time" in the world engineering community.

The Lushi Expressway connects the Yakang Expressway to the She-Tibet area of Ganzi and the Yaxi Expressway to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. It is an important part of China's Tibetan-Yi Corridor.

The whole line is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.

By then, the journey from Luding to Shimian will be shortened from the current 2.5 hours to one hour, and Chengdu to Hailuogou will also achieve a 3.5-hour high-speed direct journey.
