20 provinces raise the minimum wage

  According to the "Minimum Wage Regulations", the minimum wage standard generally takes the form of a monthly minimum wage standard and an hourly minimum wage standard.

The monthly minimum wage standard applies to full-time employees, and the hourly minimum wage standard applies to part-time employees.

  Sino-Singapore Jingwei combed and found that since 2021, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Shandong, Hubei, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Shanxi, Heilongjiang, Jiangxi, Tibet, Hainan, Gansu, Anhui 20 Three provinces raised their minimum wage standards.

  In terms of wage levels, the first monthly minimum wage in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Shandong, and Hubei exceeds RMB 2,000.

Among them, the highest in Shanghai is 2,590 yuan.

  Specifically, Shanghai has adjusted the minimum wage standard from July 1, and the monthly minimum wage standard has been adjusted from 2,480 yuan to 2,590 yuan, an increase of 110 yuan.

  From August 1st, Beijing will adjust the monthly minimum wage from 2,200 yuan to 2,320 yuan, an increase of 120 yuan.

  Guangdong has adjusted and raised the monthly minimum wage standard from December 1st. The first type standard is 2,300 yuan, the second type is adjusted to 1,900 yuan, the third type is adjusted to 1,720 yuan, and the fourth type is adjusted to 1,620 yuan.

Increase by 200 yuan, 180 yuan, 170 yuan, and 210 yuan respectively.

  From August 1st, Zhejiang’s monthly minimum wage has been adjusted from four levels to three levels of 2,280 yuan, 2,070 yuan, and 1,840 yuan. The first three levels have been increased by 270 yuan, 270 yuan, and 180 yuan, respectively.

  Jiangsu raised the minimum wage standard on August 1, and adjusted it to 2,280 yuan, 2,070 yuan, and 1,840 yuan in the first, second, and third categories, respectively, and increased 260 yuan, 240 yuan, and 220 yuan respectively.

  From July 1st, Tianjin will adjust the monthly minimum wage from 2,050 yuan per month to 2,180 yuan per month, an increase of 130 yuan.

  Shandong started to adjust the province’s monthly minimum wage standards from October 1st to 2,100 yuan, 1,900 yuan, and 1,700 yuan after the adjustment.

  Starting from September 1, Hubei has adjusted the monthly minimum wage to four levels of 2010, 1800, 1650, and 1520 yuan, increasing by 260 yuan, 300 yuan, 270 yuan, and 270 yuan respectively.

  Inner Mongolia has raised the minimum wage standard from December 1st. The adjusted monthly minimum wage standard for full-time workers has been adjusted to 1,980 yuan, an increase of 220 yuan; the second category is 1,910 yuan, an increase of 250; and the third category is 1,850.   Starting from September 1, Ningxia has adjusted the monthly minimum wage to three levels of 1950 yuan, 1840 yuan, and 1,750 yuan, increasing by 290 yuan, 280 yuan, and 270 yuan respectively.

  Shaanxi raised the minimum wage standard on May 1, and adjusted it to 1950 yuan, 1850 yuan, and 1750 yuan for the first, second, and third types of districts, each of which was raised by 150 yuan.

  Starting from November 1, Liaoning adjusted the monthly minimum wage to four levels of 1910 yuan, 1710 yuan, 1580 yuan, and 1420 yuan, increasing by 100 yuan, 100 yuan, 100 yuan, and 120 yuan respectively.

  The minimum wage standard in Xinjiang is divided into four grades, which will be implemented from April 1.

The monthly minimum standards are 1900 yuan, 1700 yuan, 1620 yuan, and 1540 yuan, all of which are raised by 80 yuan.

  Since October 1, Shanxi has adjusted the monthly minimum wage from the original four levels to three levels of 1,880, 1,760, and 1,630 yuan. The first three levels have been increased by 180, 160, and 130 yuan respectively.

  Heilongjiang raised the minimum wage standard from April 1.

The adjusted monthly minimum wage standard is divided into three levels by region.

The first gear is 1860 yuan, the second gear is 1610 yuan, and the third gear is 1450 yuan. The increase is 180 yuan, 160 yuan, and 180 yuan respectively.

  Jiangxi has raised the minimum wage standard since April 1. The minimum wage is RMB 1,850 for the first category, RMB 1,730 for the second category, and RMB 1,610 for the third category. The minimum wage is increased by RMB 170, RMB 150, and RMB 140, respectively.

  On July 1, Tibet adjusted the current monthly minimum wage to 1,850 yuan, an increase of 200 yuan.

  Hainan began to adjust the minimum wage standard in the province on December 1. The monthly minimum wage standard in the first category area is 1830 yuan; the monthly minimum wage standard in the second category area is 1730 yuan; the monthly minimum wage standard in the third category area is 1680 yuan.

  Gansu raised the minimum wage standard on September 1. The first, second, third, and fourth types of areas were adjusted to 1820 yuan, 1770 yuan, 1720 yuan, and 1670 yuan, respectively, all of which were raised by 200 yuan.

  Anhui adjusted the minimum wage standard on December 3, the first level was adjusted from 1550 yuan to 1,650 yuan, the second level was adjusted from 1380 yuan to 1,500 yuan, the third level was adjusted from 1,280 yuan to 1,430 yuan, and the fourth level was adjusted from 1,180 yuan. How to benefit from hitting workers?

  It is worth noting that the minimum wage in many provinces will be implemented from next year.

For example, the “Notice on Adjusting the Minimum Wage Standards in Henan Province” issued by the People’s Government of Henan Province clarifies that the monthly minimum wage standard for first-class administrative regions is 2,000 yuan, the monthly minimum wage standard for second-class administrative regions is 1,800 yuan, and the monthly minimum wage standard for third-class administrative regions 1600 yuan.

The adjusted minimum wage standard will come into effect on January 1, 2022.

  Chongqing will implement the new minimum wage standard on April 1, 2022.

After the adjustment, Chongqing’s minimum wage standard has implemented a two-tier system, which is 300 yuan higher than the original standard of 1,800 yuan/month and 1,700 yuan/month respectively.

  In addition to the above-mentioned provinces, Jilin, Sichuan and other provinces also mentioned plans to adjust the minimum wage this year.

  According to the "Minimum Wage Regulations", the minimum wage standard is adjusted at least once every two years. The determination and adjustment of the monthly minimum wage standard should refer to the minimum living expenses of local employees and their dependents, the consumer price index of urban residents, and the social contributions paid by individual employees. Factors such as insurance premiums and housing provident fund, average wages of employees, economic development level, and employment status.
