China News Service, Beijing, December 21st (Chen Hang and Zhang Siqi) From 20th to 24th, "Snow Feiyan", the national alpine skiing center in the Yanqing competition area of the Beijing Winter Olympics, will start a five-day cable car stress test. The safety and carrying capacity of this traffic artery lay the foundation for the operation of the Winter Olympics.

The National Alpine Ski Center has steep mountains and complex venue conditions. It will continuously host 11 events in the Winter Olympics and 30 events in the Winter Paralympics. The venues run for a long time, the number of customers is large, and there is only access to the stadium. A winding road connects the ground transportation inside and outside the stadium, and the number of parking spaces is small, and the turning space of vehicles is small, and the traffic capacity during the game is limited.

The cable car is another main artery leading to the competition area. However, the mountainous climate is complex, affected by frost, fog, and strong wind, the operation time is uncertain, the transportation capacity is unstable, the space facilities and operation points are scattered in different areas, transportation resources are tight, and the organization is difficult.

Therefore, the "pressure measurement" of the cable car has become an important part of the event guarantee, which is of great significance for accumulating experience in the organization and operation.

It is reported that the National Alpine Ski Center ropeway system has a total of 9 aerial ropeways and 2 towing ropeways, with a total length of about 10.3 kilometers, connecting the areas of the Yanqing Winter Olympic Village and the Alpine Ski Center.

The main trails include A1, A2, B1 ropeway and C ropeway. The total length of the line is more than 4,000 meters, the height difference is more than 1,000 meters, and there are a total of 206 cabins.

Among them, ropeway A and ropeway B have a maximum operating speed of 6 meters per second and a one-way capacity of 3,200 people per hour. The spreader is equipped with a seat heating function and a positioning system, and a wireless broadcast media device is installed inside.

Everyone reached the corresponding office space in the racing or competition end area through the A and B cables. , To test the actual combat capability of the cable car through an unprecedented flow of adults.

"During the five-day test, we previewed the better operation of the cable car during the Winter Olympics. We will conduct a comprehensive test on the time-sharing segment of the customer base and the priority channel for athletes to more intuitively reflect the accurate capacity of the cable car." Liu Qianxun, Secretary General of Stadium Operations of the National Alpine Ski Center, said, “In the coming time, until mid-January, we will also carry out various tests such as epidemic prevention and training to ensure the safe operation of all links during the game.” (End) )
