According to statistics, 670,300 acres of vegetables and 128,600 acres of fruits are planted in Qinghai Province. The total output of vegetables and fruits reached 1.524 million tons and 158,300 tons respectively, and the output value is expected to reach more than 3.45 billion yuan.

Good harvest of vegetables and fruits

  According to statistics from the agricultural and rural industries, it is estimated that in 2021, the vegetable planting area in Qinghai Province is 670,300 mu, with a total output of 1.524 million tons, and an output value of more than 3 billion yuan.

Among them, Chinese cabbage, common cabbage, cabbage, radishes, carrots, zucchini, peppers, spinach, green onions and other planting areas are larger.

Fruit production is mainly concentrated in the Huangshui Valley in the eastern agricultural region and the Chuanshui area along the Yellow River. It is estimated that in 2021, the fruit planting area in Qinghai Province will reach 128,600 mu, with an annual output of 158,300 tons of various fruits and an output value of more than 450 million yuan.
