It is a bonus that millions of French people are impatiently awaiting.

And yet, many of them will not see the color of this famous inflation compensation, worth 100 euros and set up by the government to respond to the explosion in the prices of gas, electricity, and fuels.

A million people have in fact still not transmitted their bank details to Urssaf.

DECRYPTION

For many French people, it is a sum and yet, they may never see the color, even though they are entitled to it.

The inflation compensation, set up in response to the explosion in energy prices, is paid to the 38 million people who earn less than 2,000 euros net per month.

Self-employed or home-based workers must receive this allowance via Urssaf.

But a million of them still have not transmitted their bank details.

Urssaf in search of missing beneficiaries

A million people cannot, for the moment, benefit from this boost of 100 euros since the Urssaf, the Union for the recovery of social security contributions and family allowances, does not have their bank details.

However, this aid is distributed by transfer.

The administration is therefore looking for these missing beneficiaries, as explained by the Director General of Urssaf, Yann Gaël Amghar.

No deadline

"We have already contacted the employees at home by email or mail. We will be relaunching them in January for those who have not sent us their bank details," he explains.

"And from January, we will also contact the self-employed and self-employed by mail and email. Today, we are mobilized first to pay to those for whom we can do it right away. That was it. , priority. And then, to retrieve bank details from others, "adds the director of Urssaf.

For the moment, there is no deadline beyond which a beneficiary could no longer receive this inflation premium.

By Christmas, Urssaf hopes to have distributed it to 1.8 million self-employed and home-based employees, or two-thirds of the beneficiaries.
