In the first 11 months of this year, Guangdong’s foreign trade imports and exports amounted to 7.47 trillion yuan, exceeding 7.09 trillion yuan last year. The scale of the country’s foreign trade increased by 17.4% over the same period last year, accounting for 21.1% of the country’s total foreign trade value.

  Imports and exports continued to maintain double-digit growth in a single month.

In November, Guangdong's foreign trade import and export amounted to 753.97 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.6%.

  General trade has the fastest growth rate.

In the first 11 months, Guangdong imported 3.91 trillion yuan in general trade, an increase of 20% year-on-year; processing trade increased by 13.4% year-on-year; bonded logistics increased by 18.8% year-on-year.

  The proportion of private enterprises increased.

In the first 11 months, the import and export of private enterprises in Guangdong was 4.22 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.6%, and their share of foreign trade increased to 56.6%, stabilizing their position as the largest foreign trade operator in Guangdong; foreign-invested enterprises increased by 13.5% year-on-year; state-owned enterprises increased year-on-year An increase of 13.6%.

  Both Guangdong and its major trading partners maintained double-digit growth in imports and exports.

In the first 11 months, Guangdong’s imports and exports to ASEAN were 1.11 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%; to Hong Kong, China, a year-on-year increase of 16%; to the United States, a year-on-year increase of 15%;

  The export proportion of mechanical and electrical products increased.

In the first 11 months, Guangdong exported 3.15 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 18.4% year-on-year, and its share of Guangdong's total export value rose to 69%.

  Imports of important production raw materials have grown rapidly.

In the first 11 months, Guangdong imported 976.07 billion yuan of integrated circuits, a year-on-year increase of 21.3%; imports of coal and lignite were 56.853 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 56.3%; and natural gas was 6.761 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%.
