The Jilin Snow Expo started in 2016 and is currently the only snow-themed expo in China.
Up to now, the Jilin Snow Expo has attracted nearly 2,000 brands from nearly 30 countries and regions, received a total of 601,000 visitors, and accumulated a total on-site transaction volume of 2.47 billion yuan.
Different from previous editions, this Jilin Snow Expo has adopted an "online + offline" model, creating an "ice and snow package" that combines products, routes, activities, and snow scenes.
The reporter learned that the “Snow Expo on the Cloud” built for the first time in Jilin concentrated on integrating online resources such as shopping platforms, short video platforms, and ice and snow apps, with ice and snow resource display, ice and snow product sales, and ice and snow topic marketing as the main body, and ice and snow products. And regional specialty products are the main commodities, and the rapid development of the "Platinum Economy" is comprehensively promoted.
Jin Zhenlin, deputy director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jilin Province, said that by launching the "Cloud Expo", the audience will be more accurate and longer-term, and the ice and snow culture and exhibits can be better disseminated.
Tonghua City, where the opening ceremony of this Jilin Snow Expo was held, is the birthplace of Chinese skiing.
